Day1 Arrive Chengdu

Be met at Chengdu airport, then transfer to hotel check in.Chengdu is known as the most Leisure City in China and it covers a large number of leisure entertainment projects.

Day2 Chengdu-Leshan-Emei Mt

After breakfast, go to Leshan by bus and then visit the Giant Stone Buddha at Leshan Mountain, Lingyun Temple and the heavenly Buddhism Kingdom. Climb down the Jiuqu Trestle to touch the stone feet. After that, drive to Mt. Emei.

Day3 Emei MtChengdu

After breakfast, take the scenic sightseeing bus to pilgrimage 48 meters high -Jinding visit all the gold, silver and bronze. And in the world's most spectacular viewing platform - the cliff appreciate the four wonders of Mt. Emei: sunrise, the Cloud Sea, Gongga Snow Mountain, and Tile House. In the afternoon, have a visit to Wannian Temple, Qingyin Pavillion, Wild Monkeys Area and Qingyinping Lake. After that, go back to Chengdu.

Day4 Chengdu

In the morning, take about 1 hour drive from Chengdu to the Front Mountain of Mount Qingcheng, the home of Taoism. The famous Taoism temples are all located in the Front Mountain. Begin your Taoism exploration after stepping into the arch of Mount Qingcheng, pass through Celestial Hall of Mount Qingcheng and Nature’s Pavilion till hike up to Yuecheng Lake which lying quietly at the middle of the mountain, then take a five minute Buyun cable car up to the mountain. After the Taoist mountain tour, head to the Dujiangyan Irrigation System, which was an irrigation project built in 256BC. The system is still working to irrigate Chengdu plain and it’s the actual reason why Chengdu is called as the “Land of Abundance”. Visit the three main parts of Dujiangyan Irrigation System including Yuzui, Feishayan, Baopingkou, and be amazed by the wisdom of ancient Chinese.

Day5 Chengdu

Day6 ChengduXian

Morning Fast train to Xian, 4h on the way, then picked up by local guide. next you will pay a visit to Xi'an Drum Tower is the largest one of its kind in China, facing the Bell Tower at east, which was beat to tell the time to citizens, hence the name. Standing on the towering above the city center and appreciate incredible view of Xi'an.The last stop is Muslim Quarter, you can stroll along the Muslim Quarter which offers a wide range of bargains. The Muslim Quarter is the main gathering place of the local Muslim community and offers a great deal of exotic shops and savory restaurants. Xi'an is a city with a tolerant mind in religious culture and here you will find the harmonious getting-along of Buddhist culture and Muslim culture.

Day7 Xian

Morning visit Qin Terra-cotta Army Museum. Built on the site of the terra-cotta warriors and horse’s pits in the Emperor Qin's Mausoleum, the museum is located at the northern piedmont of Lishan Mountain 7.5 kilometers east of Lingtong County in Shaanxi Province and 37.5 kilometers west of Xi'an City. Excavation of the vault revealed thousands of terra-cotta warriors and their horses, an entire army designed to follow its emperor into eternity. After lunch, continue your tour visit Shaanxi History Museum to know more about the glorious history. The building covers an area of over 70,000 square meters and houses more than 370,000 historical items excavated from all over Shaanxi Province, including murals, paintings, pottery, coins, as well as bronze, gold, and silver objects. The modern museum was built between 1983 and 2001 and its appearance recalls the architectural style of the Tang Dynasty.

Day8 Xian-Xining-Qinghai Lake

Fast train to Xining, about 2h on the way.Then you will drive for about 2.5 hours to Qinghai Lake. That salt water lying in northeast part of Qinghai – Tibet Plateau is the best known attraction in Qinghai to normal tourists. The birds island in the lake is the paradise for many kinds of birds. Each summer, thousands of birds fly to Qinghai Lake to escape from hot summer and the ground of grove will be covered with birds’ stool. And in August the lake area will be covered by golden rape flowers. You could optionally take a cruise ship to have some exciting time there. In the afternoon you will be escorted back to hotel.

Day9 Xining Qinghai LakeChaka Salt LakeZhangye

Chaka Salt Lake or Chakayan Lake(茶卡盐湖) As a salt lake, you can see crystal salt in the lake, thus it looks like a mirror. For this, it is reputed as one of the best places to take photo, and got a name as Mirror of Sky. It is recommended to you, a photographer, and an amateur of photo-taking. Day11 Dunhuang

After breakfast, the first stop is Mogao Grottos, which are also known as the Thousand Buddha Grottoes, form a system of 492 temples 25 km (16 mi) southeast of the center of Dunhuang, an oasis strategically located at a religious and cultural crossroads on the Silk Road, in Gansu province, China. The caves may also be known as the Dunhuang Caves. The caves contain some of the finest examples of Buddhist art spanning a period of 1,000 years. The Mogao Caves are the best known of the Chinese Buddhist grottoes and, along with Longmen Grottoes and Yungang Grottoes, are one of the three famous ancient Buddhist sculptural sites of China.Shazhou Night Market is the largest night market in Dunhuang, popular with tourists from all over the world, which is a wonderful place both to eat and to socialize. Dunhuang used to be called Shazhou. The market is divided into five zones - food & snacks, art crafts, Sanbaotai teahouses, agricultural products and souvenirs, which form a bustling night picture with unique folk customs.

Day12 Dunhuang-Turpan

Morning you will have the chance to ride a camel along the Echoing-Sand Dune to Lake Crescent, a miracle in the Gobi desert. Lake Crescent is known for its brilliant blue waters and exceptional clarity, caused by a lack of nitrogen in the water which inhibits the growth of algae. You will be able to reach the top from one side of the dunes and slide down the other to see the fantastic view. Day13 Turpan

Today the first stop is Jiaohe Ruins, was once the biggest and oldest city built on rammed earth, dating back to 2nd century BC. It is a Chinese archaeological site found in the Yarnaz Valley, 10 km west of the city of Turpan in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. It is a natural fortress located atop a steep cliff on a leaf-shaped plateau between two deep river valleys.The word karez means "well" in the local Uyghur language. Turpan has the Turpan Water Museum (a Protected Area of the People's Republic of China) dedicated to demonstrating its karez water system, as well as exhibiting other historical artifacts.Turpan is famous throughout China for its big and sweet grapes. Today you’ll visit the Grape Valley to taste the sweet grapes. Besides, visit the Flaming Hill, or Red Mountains, which are mainly composed of red sandstone.

Day14 Turpan-Urumqi

In the morning, pick you up at your hotel lobby and drive you to Urumqi (around 3 hours). Upon arrival, have a simple lunch and start your tour with Heaven Lake, also named Tianchi Lake on Tianshan. The Mountain Lake stands 1980 meters above sea level and features picturesque scenery of snowcapped peaks. In ancient Chinese literature, Tianchi also refers to Nanming. Some other well-known lakes named Tianchi include those in Xinjiang and Taiwan. North Korean propaganda claims that Kim Jong-il was born near the lake on the mountain. In accordance with this, North Korean news agencies reported that on his death, the ice on the lake cracked "so loud, it seemed to shake the heavens and the Earth."
